    Super Service

Had 5 days here, which was lovely. Hotel really nice and clean, albeit expensive to eat and drink there. What I did want to mention was the fantastic hospitality shown in particular by John Ivan, the nicest service. Big smile and just so happy and he is a credit to the hotel. Thankyou John Ivan. I wish you well and thank you for making our break that bit nicer. Eddie

Not even a shadow of 5 stars and perhaps they do not know what luxury means and they wrote it out of ego

Dated hotel even if the photos say otherwise, nothing to do with a 5-star luxury. Sunbeds and umbrellas mostly broken with dirty mattresses, all the wooden parts are ruined. A 5-star hotel does maintenance constantly, given the cost of the facility. Another absurd thing, €25 for covered parking and €20 uncovered and you are practically forced to leave your car with them, as is right when you go to a 5-star hotel, but the price is very high. The rooms are worn out with sinks that do not drain water. The outdoor pool is cute but not heated even if they say the opposite and the children play with a ball. The bar and restaurant prices are a bit high but in line with 5-star hotels (if it were a 5-star) Property far from everything and everyone, fine if you want relaxation but then all services and the location must be impeccable! The only positive note, the staff because they are kind and helpful, I am only sorry that in the booking costs there is a hidden item, if not seen once you make the booking of 5% denominated for tips and services, because I prefer to give the tip directly to the staff. EMBARRASSING The beach bar has 5-star prices, as theoretically is right if you stay at a property that thinks it is one, water €5, mojito €13.50, small beer €8, pizzas from €16 for a Margherita upwards etc. etc. but, dirty tables, they bring you food on plastic plates and plastic cutlery in addition to the cups for everything, they are plastic, besides this the food arrives without a plate to take food from the main dish and without napkins. For all these they ask for 10% of the bill for service SCANDALOUS I believe they need to go and learn what a 5-star means around the world before ruining people's vacations

A wonderful week in a beautiful hotel

The hotel was very beautiful and clean, the staff were so helpful and service minded. We loved their breakfast and spent many hours by their pool reading and swimming. It had a nice temperature and was very clean. Mario at the conciergerie was very helpful and I think it was because of his efforts that we finally were able to get a rental car during high season, even though we did not book in advance. He was also very helpful when I forgot my 19 year old wedding ring in our hotel room and helped me to get it back safely to the north of Sweden. Thank you so much, Mario! There was also a very noce helpful girl in the reception who spoke a little bit of norwegian. If you want to go to the beach there was always someone there ready to drive you but it was an easy 5-10 min walk if you prefer that. The hotel is a bit far away from bigger cities, so we recommend a rental car. We had the most wonderful time driving around on excellent roads and recommend a visit to Rovinj and Porec. The food and wine in Istria was great, I just want to go back! 🥰
