Overview

High in the Ahrntal Valley, at an altitude the mountain air makes its own case for, Alpenpalace sits among wide peaks and gentle woodland in one of South Tyrol's finest walking country. The spa is the heart of it: quiet retreat spaces set within a garden, saunas carrying the scent of local herbs, and pools that catch and hold the colour of the valley sky. The setting keeps nature close…

Hotel in the heart of the Ahrntal valley

I stayed for a few days at this hotel in the middle of July. hotel strategically located halfway between the two ski lifts for the plateaus. The sauna and massage center are excellent; The possibility of using the e-bikes made available is also a plus. Impeccable service, excellent food, and staff always attentive to meeting the customers' needs. A pleasant discovery, recommended

    Do not cross that gate.

Dated and tacky hotel. Inattentive and inhospitable staff. Hot and noisy room. It is forbidden to use the in-room fridge to store medications or personal items. A patrol in constant exploration comes to check its use every time the fridge is opened, and if it finds anything personal, it places it outside. The catering with an unhygienic buffet is dishes that are presented with emphasis by the staff, but with little substance. The general impression is an old hotel that they are trying to recover at the expense of the patrons who think they will find a summer relaxation break here in the Ahrntal valley, but find themselves in a sort of hot and noisy hotel of mediocre quality. We left the following day.

    Disappointing

Breakfast and dinner were good, the afternoon snack was disappointing. Dining room staff with the speed of sloths. Sauna area unprotected and the sauna not usable during the indicated hours.
