    Affordable White Lotus

    This place is amazing! I felt like I was on a season of The White Lotus. Super relaxing, great rooms, pool, beach, kayaking, relaxing. Really good food. Awesome staff. Kevin at the bar was so awesome. Ricardo was so kind and helpful at the restaurant. Michele was so nice. The young friend desk boy (I forget his name sadly) was super helpful. Even when our prepaid boat to go to Cartagena broke down and never came to pick us up. They called us a car service and made us a Coco Chevere drink while we waited. No worries! I’m glad we stayed here and not at the more expensive Las Islas resort!!!

    An exceptional experience in Barú!

    Aura so far exceeded our expectations! The website, booking.com, hotels.com…do not do this amazing hotel justice. It is absolutely, stunningly beautiful and well-kept, it takes your breath away. And the staff is the nicest, kindest, most helpful, most professional and most friendly I’ve encountered in all my travels. Ricardo and Kevin were so exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, but everyone was wonderful. The food, the drinks, the ambience, everything was so spectacular, I just can’t gush enough. If you’re planning a trip to Cartagena, do yourself a favor and take a few days to visit and enjoy the very special Aura Hotel in Barú!

    Fabulous stay at Aura Baru

    We chose this beautiful place to relax at the end of our trip in Colombia. It is a little paradise where you can enjoy swimming either in the lovely swimming pool or the sea. The staff is amazing, we remember Jorge, Carmelo and all the very welcoming team. We definitely recommend this beautiful hotel by the sea not far from Cartagena. Many thanks again to all the fabulous team!
