  Amazing Staff

  Thanks Tri we enjoyed our holiday. The hotel was amazing with nice staff from the restaurant and the rooms was affordable enough and top notch service from Tri during our dining.

  Great location, large rooms but they need a revamp and facilities need to be addressed when there are issues

  We stayed here in August as a trial run for when we return again in October, chosen because of the location and cheap rates. We booked in for 2 weeks, the room was large with plenty of space and storage. The bed would have been one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in away from home and the pillows were also just right! The air conditioner leaked for most of the stay, we reported this a number of times but doubt anyone came to look at it or attempt to fix, we were just left extra bathmats to leave underneath on the floor to soak up the moisture. Also the shower leaked, like really leaked, all across the bathroom floor, every time it was used. We also reported this but not sure if it was addressed either - so we went through a lot of towels to soak up the excess water and at times had to call for more so we could use clean towels to shower. Overall the place was OK, 2 pools which we didn't use at all. The main pool looked nice enough, every morning at 10am the music would be blasting for water aerobics, some lounges around the pool but these were mainly attached to the rooms on the lower floors, other lounges were down the side away from the pool which was weird because you lay there basically looking at the people opposite. The pool at the back overlooking the beach had some lounges, these were mostly in the hot sun of an afternoon though there were umbrellas available, but they were just so close to each other, it was a bit awkward - and these were mainly taken up by older weathered guests! There is one elevator which only fits 3 people in it and very slow. We used the stairs daily from the 3rd floor, takes a toll on the old legs after a bit! Staff were generally polite and courteous though you didn't see much of them walking around. Breakfast - there are 2 areas for breakfast on the lower and upper levels, both very small and very unorganised. Some days you would be asked for your room number, but mostly not. You would have to find your own table which mostly was unmade and so you had to seek out your own cutlery etc. There was always a shortage of plates around the space and never enough glasses, always had to ask for more to get a drink. The variety was limited, some Indo inspired dishes, the basic egg station, some manky looking fruit and yoghurts, toasting area was stuck in the corner with people hovering to get their toast, no towel was available to handle the bread when slicing, yuk! It was very crowded with people having to move around each other excuse me, sorry, blah blah blah We began to sleep in so we didn't have to go and just get something off the street later. However the location was good, direct access across the road to the beach, many restaurants and shops close by. If your legs are old or ailed, perhaps bypass as there are a lot of steps, all of different heights/width/depth so can be difficult to navigate. We are going back again in October and have requested a ground floor room, hoping our experience may be better and get a chance to utilise the pools.
