  Amazing exceptional stay

  We are coming to Bolzano very often and for the first time we stayed at this beautiful Castel Hortenberg. From the first moment we were treated exceptionally and all the stuff was very helpful The junior room was very spacious and extremely comfortable This place cares about every single detail which makes this place unique I can highly recommend to stay there

  Incredible Experience!

  What an incredible experience Castel Hortenberg gives you! My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by Ariyan at the door with a warm smile and ready to make sure our needs were met even though it was a little late. He even provided a very thoughtful gift for our anniversary. He knew where to send us for a great meal and made our stay very wonderful and memorable. Another shout out to Davide who was also there at every turn at breakfast, getting drinks, in the evening, whenever we were out, he was making sure our experience was amazing. These guys must never sleep!😂 This staff along with this incredibly beautiful setting is an experience not to be missed! One side note… when Maps says you are there look to your right and there will be what looks like a small alleyway with the gate. That is the entrance to the hotel. Tough to see, especially if it’s nighttime but it’s there! Thank you Ariyan, Davide and staff for such a wonderful stay! We can’t wait to come back! The Dolomites are so beautiful we have to come again… to experience the mountains and one of the best hotels anywhere… Castel Hörtenberg!

  One of the most beautiful and well-maintained hotels in South Tyrol

  We spent a short stay at Castel Hörtenberg for the second time at the beginning of August 2026 and are full of praise once again. Everything is going like clockwork: the extremely friendly reception, the appealing menu and the excellent lunch and dinner, the exquisite service and the magnificent room. There is simply nothing left to be desired. Simply magnificent!
