Behind stone that has stood for centuries, 79 rooms are arranged across more than 18,000 square metres of restored monastery. The wellness area runs beyond 2,000 square metres, with treatment rooms, thermal pools drawing on the particular properties of the local waters, a children's pool and the Chapel of San Pedro Experience. Beyond the walls lie 4.5 hectares of the estate's own vineyard, an organic vegetable garden and a spice garden. Dining moves between the à-la-carte Converso, whose kitchen brings traditional and modern cooking together with regional produce and vegetables from the garden, the Cafeteria La Cilla with its terrace, and La Bodega de los Monjes, where D.O. wines are poured alongside lighter plates. The monastery also holds the Ages of Man Foundation, with religious art workshops in a building that faces the River Duero. Dogs up to 25 kg are welcome for an additional charge. The village of Valbuena de Duero sits about five minutes' drive away, with the nearest airport around 14 minutes on.
