  A perfect experience

  I had a fabulous experience at the spa; the receptionists were friendly and excellent, always willing to help, just like the rest of the staff, who were always attentive and friendly. Looking forward to returning.

  A good hotel.

  We came from the one in Valbuena, and while we like this one too, it does not reach its level. In any case, it is a good hotel to relax and "take" the waters. Very good Spa and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool lounge chairs are crying out for a renovation. Very good breakfast, with hot dishes on demand and excellent homemade pastries. We regret that the town is so dull. We will return.

  Dissatisfactions

  Report of our stay: Deplorable parking, large dirty vacant lot, pedestrian access through a dirty and graffitied tunnel. Error in room assignment upon arrival (room not in our name). Room overlooking a bottling plant that is very noisy at night (this happened, however, 1 night out of 4). In the distance, the highway that you see and hear (a lot) from the hotel, even from the thermal pool. All the surroundings of the hotel ("park", outdoor pool, terrace) and the buildings are poorly maintained, damaged, or even dirty (tarps, construction work, rubble, cigarette butts, fabrics, tables and garden furniture dirty, stained with residual hair on the fabric....). The hotel is in the center of an ugly village, surrounded by very busy roads. We had booked 4 nights with access to the pool and treatments over 3 days. We learned upon arriving that the treatments are to be paid for in addition to the room+pool. The hotel had sent only one booking confirmation for the room+pool, not for the treatments despite my phone call at the time of booking to verify everything. No commercial gesture. We were only told that we would have to pay 50% of each treatment for late cancellation (!), that they would try to find a solution and that they would keep us informed very quickly. It was by calling the front desk to book the pool (after 5:00 PM, you only access it by reservation) that the receptionist told me the next afternoon: "by the way, while I have you on the phone, regarding your treatments + response (we did not pay the 50% "fine"...."). It happens that no one answers phone calls at the front desk (no phone in the rooms to reach them, you must call with your cell phone). You must therefore go to the front desk to get answers. At breakfast, you can order a dish made for you in the kitchen and not be served (happened once in 4 days). Housekeeping in the rooms may not be done, even if you are away long enough while leaving the "arreglar la habitación" sign clearly visible. At 4 p.m., still not done. The bath towels are not changed in 4 days even though they are always wet (no towel warmer in the bathroom). And finally, the hotel is full of dogs, some barking incessantly when they are left alone in the room. Not to mention the hygiene problems in a thermal establishment.... The price-quality ratio is disastrous.
