  Quiet, green and the staff make it

  Stayed here in September with my partner and would come back without thinking about it. The setting is the main thing. You're up in the green above Hout Bay with the mountains right there, and once you're on the property you don't hear the city at all. We ended up in the hot pools far more than we planned. It doesn't feel like Cape Town at all, more like being away in Bali. We had cold weather and a bit of rain, and it didn't matter at all. The indoor spaces are made for exactly that. Fireplaces everywhere, cosy corners to sit in, and private cinemas we didn't expect and used more than once. Rooms are spacious and properly done, not the usual hotel furniture, and everything was spotless. The food was excellent too, the kitchen team really knows what they're doing. But what really made it was the team. Ethan, Prince and Sacha in particular, and honestly everyone else too. The service is personal, almost like being with family, attentive without hovering, and nothing was ever a problem. That's not something you can build into a hotel, you either have those people or you don't. And for what you get, the price is outstanding. We've paid more for a lot less. Easy drive into Cape Town when you want the city, and quiet the moment you're back.

  Just gorgeous

  A little slice of paradise in Cape Town. Honestly the pictures do not do this place justice, it is so beautiful and peaceful. The design led focus of the hotel is simply stunning and it feels more like staying in a house than a hotel. The views of Table mountain are amazing and beautiful facilities including state of the art gym and plunge pool as well as a couple of swimming pools. We stayed in the sky room which was beautifully decorated with gorgeous views. Great breakfast each morning and we enjoyed the meals cooked by the female chef team who were just fantastic - the food was so good we didn’t feel the need to go out for meals. Special mention to Terrance for great service and also advising us on safety in the area. The hotel’s GM (sorry I didn’t catch her name) was wonderfully experienced in hospitality and ensured our stay was relaxed and carefree - we felt truly spoiled thank you.

  Perfection

  I cannot recommend this enough !! Faultless. !! The staff the rooms the food everything was perfect. We really didn’t want to leave here and next time will stay for longer than 2 nights
