Overview

A Georgian country house with a streak of eccentricity, Homewood pairs grand bones with creative artworks and modern comforts, among them a spa and a heated outdoor pool. The kitchen leans towards generous sharing platters and hearty classics, given local ingredients and a Mediterranean turn. Take a table indoors, or book one of the Dining Domes in the grounds. Bath sits about 17 minutes' drive away, with Wadswick Farm Airstrip…

Very Quirky Hotel like no other

My husband treated me and himself to a 2 night stay at this very quirky and wonderful hotel. We booked last minute and couldn't have picked anywhere better. It was my birthday and was given a lovely card in our room with a plate with chocolates and Happy Birthday message very nice touch. The Spa was lovely outdoor pool lovely and warm I had a massage which was amazing by Zosia (sorry if spelling is wrong) she was very informative and I had a wonderful treatment. Our Room No. 23 in the Mews a separate building from the main hotel was lovely with a bath and walk-in shower. The sweetie jars were a real treat in the hallway. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional the restaurant young ladies were lovely to talk to sorry didn't get their names. One had worked 3 months and the other 2 weeks at the hotel and were a delight. We will definitely we back the only criticism we have is the Evening Meal menu was a little spicy for our liking but that's our own taste, maybe the sauces of dishes should be separate from the chicken/medallion's we had and not all over the potato and beans. We would like to say Jess on reception was such a warm welcoming lady, we have stayed in a lot of hotels and she was the best Receptionist we have ever come across she is exceptional at her job and so helpful.

Lovely stay with some minor points

We had a lovely stay here and the rooms and service were great. Staff super friendly and helpful on arrival and in the dining room. There’s a lovely reception area to relax in, however, board games are provided but with lots of pieces missing and could do with a revamp and new ones bought We had massages and they were genuinely some of the best ones we’ve had Issue is most of the facilities are outside so the enjoyment is dependent on good weather Food was really nice, highly recommend dining there if you stay

    Lovely stay

A lovely hotel with lots of nice touches, eg brownies and fresh milk in the room, jars of sweets to help yourself from. The staff are excellent. The spa is small but very clean but can get busy. The food was lovely and a good choice on the menu. My room was well equipped and a high standard but a couple of things could be better, eg the fixed shower head water gets round the cubicle and water gets on the bathroom floor.
