  OVERRATED!

  It needs a renovation. Small rooms with very little closet space and an outdated bathroom. Mattress not very comfortable. The quality of the bar-cafeteria-restaurant service is mediocre. The location is good but the prices do not correspond to what the hotel offers.

  Perfect Stay in Port de Soller

  This may have been my favorite hotel on our recent trip! The location was perfect for us as you could stroll through town or go from beach to pool easily. We had a Medium Terrace room and the room was even nicer than I expected based on the pictures. It was very spacious with an excellent shower (and great products) and a wonderful large terrace that we enjoyed daily. Note that the terraces aren’t private from neighbors but do have walls. The outdoor pools were lovely and chairs were easily available. There was also a nice gym, library, and plenty of sitting areas. Service was excellent across the board. I want to compliment the hotel management for creating a truly relaxing resort experience. Complimentary towels were luxurious and we were gifted with a very nice welcome gift as well as a daily treat and unlimited waters and mini-bar. A welcome drink was provided and staff offered to drive our car to the parking area on arrival. Front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. So many hotels miss the soft touches and Esplendido really stood out. We highly recommend it!

  Absolutely Magical – We Don’t Want to Leave!

  We have been staying at Hotel Esplendido since Tuesday, and honestly, I don’t know where to begin because there is so much to say. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff has been outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble, and everyone we have met has been warm, friendly, attentive and genuinely lovely. The level of service is exceptional. A special mention has to go to our fabulous waitress Samantha, who has been absolutely wonderful. She is attentive, professional, friendly and such a pleasure to deal with. She has made our time here even more special. The hotel itself is simply magical. The pool area is sublime, the food is delicious, and the setting is breathtaking. There are two pools, including the adults-only infinity pool, which has a view that honestly takes your breath away. Sitting there looking out over Port de Sóller is something I will never forget. I have read some of the negative reviews on TripAdvisor and, hand on heart, I genuinely cannot understand them. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course, but our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. We have loved every minute of our stay. In fact, we are already booking another trip for April because we simply don’t want to leave! Hotel Esplendido has given us exactly what a holiday should be: beautiful surroundings, fantastic food, wonderful people and that feeling that you really don’t want to go home. If I could stay here forever, I honestly would. Thank you to every member of the Esplendido team for making our stay so incredibly special. We will be back in April — and we absolutely cannot wait. ❤️
