Overview

Open since 1978, Huentala was the first boutique hotel in Argentina's interior, and it still marks Mendoza's KM 0 point at the city's centre. Its rooms number just over eighty, and artworks appear throughout, tucked into corners and hung along the passages. Families are welcome, and the kitchen is a serious part of the appeal. The Helipuerto sits about nine minutes' drive away.

    Very good stay

Hotel very well located, La Cabrera Restaurant is excellent! Very good service. Only bathrooms need modernization

    Pleasant

    - Hotel very well located, staff extremely attentive and helpful. Shared structure (academy, restaurant, etc) with 2 other hotels is excellent! - It left something to be desired due to the lack of lighting in the bathroom and shower over the bathtub, forcing one to climb onto the bathtub to take a shower, which is very uncomfortable and dangerous.

    Overall very good

Overall very good, for some unexplained reason we'd neglected to tell the hotel that our travel plans had changed and so we turned up 3 days later than they expected us...! They didn't charge us a no-show though which was good of them, but they also didn't get in touch to ask where we were.. so this meant that our first night of 4 nights was in a pretty awful suite overlooking concreate with no light on the 1st floor next to the lifts, very dated, but we were then moved to the 7th floor overlooking the front of the hotel which was far nicer with balconies to front and side. The Hotel is in a great location and it's nice to be able to use the facilities of the other two hotels connected, it was a bit of a surprise that the wine in the room was chargeable as this wasn't clear, but only 15,000 ARS so not expensive, the breakfast was pretty good also, good hotel for the price, but avoid that 1st floor suite!
