  Awesome Experience. Kind Staff

  Awesome experience at this magical hotel. Location is prime for imerovigli, views were impeccable, service staff was so kind, the manager himself Antoni is kind and hilarious and will personally walk you to and through your room and its amenities. The staff is so supportive and will coordinate meals and taxis. Awesome experience and highly recommend.

  Katikies Chromata Hotel, Santorini

  We stayed at the Katikies Chromata in Imerovigli in the middle of August for a week. The hotel perched on the side of the caldera has spectacular views and we were provided with breakfast each morning on our balcony overlooking the caldera. The suite was built into a cave in the side of the caldera, it was spacious, comfortable, quiet and had a huge bathroom. Everything inside and outside is painted in the typical Santorini white and so very bright and clean looking. The very attentive staff were all very keen to provide as much help as we would ever want but unobtrusively. Actually this seems to be characteristic of all Restaurants, Bars, Shops, etc in Santorini. Imerovigli in our opinion is the best place to stay in Santorini. We walked to Fira every day (about 25 to 30 minutes) along the Caldera path with its spectacular views to get the bus to other parts of the island. The hotel informed us that a taxi there would be Euros 30 in each direction but we preferred the walk, even in the heat. Imerovigli, being between Ioa and Fira is at the highest point of the caldera and avoids the numerous day tourists form the cruise ships and has some of the very best sunset views. The hotel pool is fairly small with just 5 double sunbeds but only ever one or two other guests would be using it. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider returning for a stay in the future.

  Perfect

  Phenomenal experience at this hotel. Great staff, beautiful rooms, and absolutely breathtaking views over the caldera. A truly great hotel.
