Overview

Think of it less as a hotel than a large, lived-in house. Coffee or a cocktail at the bar's island, a meeting arranged in the lounge, a book pulled down in the library, or an afternoon given over entirely to the spa. Paris sits about nine minutes away by car, with the nearest airport around ten.

    Great location, quaint hotel

This is a quaint hotel, with 6 floors, and about 6-8 rooms per floor. It is extremely quiet. The hotel is steps away from the metro entrance. The spa needs to be reserved, and then it’s yours to use in private (pool and sauna). The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was great. I really enjoyed my stay.

    A 3-Star Experience Masquerading as a 4-Star Hotel

Here is a review based on your experience, formatted so you can easily copy and paste it to a review site like TripAdvisor or Google: ### A 3-Star Experience Masquerading as a 4-Star Hotel **Hotel:** Le Petit Beaumarchais Overall, my stay at Le Petit Beaumarchais was a mixed bag. While the hotel advertises itself as a 4-star establishment, the actual experience felt firmly rooted in 3-star territory. **What Missed the Mark:** * **Lacking Basic Service:** There was absolutely no assistance offered with our bags, which is a standard expectation for any true 4-star hotel. * **Messy Breakfast Service:** The morning dining experience was consistently frustrating. Not only did they run out of breakfast food, but there were also dirty dishes left out every single morning. * **Extremely Cramped Rooms:** Be warned if you are traveling with kids or have extra luggage—the rooms are exceptionally small and do not offer much breathing room for families. **The Highlights:** * **Outstanding Staff Member:** Despite the breakfast chaos, the lady working the morning service was a complete saving grace. She was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and did her absolute best to accommodate us. * **Evening Perks:** The hotel offers a light food and cocktail service in the evening, which was a very nice touch to wind down after a busy day. **The Verdict:** If you are a solo traveler or a couple traveling very light who doesn't mind a lack of premium amenities, the evening service and location might make this work for you. However, if you are traveling with children, have extra bags, or expect true 4-star service, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

    Our Paris Place

Third visit, and remains the only place we stay when my daughter and I come to Paris. Beds are very comfortable, clean rooms, very nice staff and an unbearable location. The spa pool was out of service, and they set us up at their sister hotel right away - it was lovely. Super helpful with reservations, and a lovely bar as well!
