A romantic luxury hotel with unparalleled views . . .
This is a romantic luxury hotel with some of the most spectacular vistas you can imagine. The rooms are sizable and comfortable and the staff is solicitous and always available, if a little formal. The pools are heated, attended by a bar, and face eye-popping mountain views The hotel grounds are also beautifully curated. The food was generally delicious (see below) and well-presented (try the caramel cheesecake a la cielo). Much of the staff speaks only Spanish, which is understandable, but it created some awkward interactions since our Spanish isn't the best. Also, one of our dinners was shifted to the Cafe de Cielo from the restaurant and the quality suffered. The meals in the restaurant were consistently delicious. Finally, hiking and impressive waterfalls are nearby. So, you don't have to stay at the hotel all the time, although you easily could and be happy.

Very bad
We arrived at the hotel after a long day around 5:00 PM. As soon as we arrived, we smelled poop, but we didn't give it too much importance. Around 7:30 PM, we wanted to go to bed to rest and were surprised to find poop smeared on the sheets in the bed.
