  Excellent location, professionalism of the staff

  Exceptional location, super staff, I traveled with my little dog who was welcomed like a princess, extreme attention and professionalism towards the customer. Very spacious and clean room with a fantastic terrace, excellent breakfast. The only thing that made me give 4 dots instead of 5 is the condition of the bathroom, a bit too dated even if clean. My bathroom also had chipped sink ceramic.

  Good until departure

  Very disappointed by the handling of a payment incident for a five-star establishment. Nearly a week after leaving the hotel and paying for my stay in full, a sum of 1 028,70 € related to it reappeared on my account and is currently blocked, reducing my available balance by that amount. This operation caused me to exceed my authorized overdraft by about 1 000 €. Fortunately, I checked my account in time and was able to make an emergency transfer myself. Without that, I could have suffered declined payments as well as bank fees and interest charges. I immediately contacted the hotel. A response from the accounting department was promised to me for the next day. This deadline has passed. I have since followed up with the establishment in writing and sent screenshots of the bank transactions concerned. To this day, I have still received neither an explanation nor a concrete solution. An error or a technical incident can happen. However, when a sum of more than 1 000 € belonging to a client ends up blocked and can have significant financial consequences, I expect a five-star establishment to handle it quickly, clearly, and professionally. It is above all the handling of this incident that justifies this rating.
