  Conclusion: completely overpriced stay, for what??

  While the restaurant service was nice, from Sunday to Monday there was only a menu à la carte. Dishes were described floridly, but did not meet expectations: some were only lukewarm. A simple schnitzel: tough, almost cold, was only edible because we wanted to have a peaceful day. The outdoor pool was nice because of the bad weather, just for us alone. Room: stuffy (like a poorly insulated house, no forced ventilation) with a view of another roof. Breakfast was the opposite: delicious and varied. Departure checkout: the aforementioned complaints regarding the completely inflated price for the services provided were noted with the indication, "the management will be informed and will contact you by phone." Monday evening after departure, clear signs of bedbug infestation on the left upper arm - definitely not brought along.

  No relaxation: unannounced construction site and poor handling of criticism.

  No relaxation: unannounced construction site and poor handling of criticism. We booked this house for a relaxing stay including a conference. Neither at the booking nor upon arrival were we informed that there is a construction site directly at the hotel. The noise was massive and began early in the morning. On one day, the construction site already woke us up at 6:00 AM. The only outdoor pool was practically unusable because the construction noise drowned out any conversation. For a house in this price category that advertises relaxation, this is unacceptable from our perspective. We were particularly disappointed by the response to our feedback. Instead of a solution or a gesture, we received a lengthy justification. A lack of information about the construction site was not acknowledged. A house of this class should not handle honest criticism in this manner. To be fair: The team and the restaurant service were friendly and attentive, which truly impressed us; the breakfast was extraordinarily extensive and delicious. That is precisely why it is unfortunate that the unannounced construction site and the communication with Ms. Zimmermann marred our stay.
