    Good hotel

    The hotel is located in the very beautiful South Harz. Hikes and historical city tours, e.g., in Stolberg, can be easily undertaken from here. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom! Due to the construction site, the balcony was unfortunately not really usable. The wellness area is good for a hotel of this size. The breakfast buffet and also the dinner menu were excellent! Very diverse and also great in terms of taste! A heartfelt thank you to all employees!

    Conclusion: completely overpriced stay, for what??

    While the restaurant service was nice, from Sunday to Monday there was only a menu à la carte. Dishes were described floridly, but did not meet expectations: some were only lukewarm. A simple schnitzel: tough, almost cold, was only edible because we wanted to have a peaceful day. The outdoor pool was nice because of the bad weather, just for us alone. Room: stuffy (like a poorly insulated house, no forced ventilation) with a view of another roof. Breakfast was the opposite: delicious and varied. Departure checkout: the aforementioned complaints regarding the completely inflated price for the services provided were noted with the indication, "the management will be informed and will contact you by phone." Monday evening after departure, clear signs of bedbug infestation on the left upper arm - definitely not brought along.
