  Peaceful, private stay in W Bali park with great scuba diving.

  We had a lovely stay at Plateran Menjangan. We had a beautiful, comfortable two-bedroom villa with strong AC. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. Everyone working there was so sweet and helpful. The spa was nice, and the massages were good. We loved the peacefulness and the monkeys and deer right outside our villas. We did most of the free classes, such as the cooking class, morning walks, and the Mejejaitan class (our favorite class). However, I'm focusing this review on scuba diving because I didn't find much information about it online while researching the hotel. We are a family of 5 certified divers, and the youngest is a 12-year-old Junior Open Water diver. The resort has a small shop called Queen Dive. They were great to dive with! They had a fast speedboat with two motors, so it was only about 10 to 15 minutes to all the Menjangan Island dive sites. We were the only people diving this week, so we basically had a private DM the whole time, even on the day when it was just my husband and me diving. The DM, Putu, was excellent, safe, and amazing at finding the tiniest nudibranchs. We also saw turtles, white-tip and black-tip reef sharks, tons of beautiful soft corals, scorpionfish, stingray clams, and so much more. Surface intervals were spent on Menjangan Island, which had toilet facilities. With the two-tank dive, you get a lunchbox with coffee and tea for your surface interval. 2-3 days of diving is enough to see the best sites on Menjangan Island. They would also be able to accommodate snorkelers on the same boat as divers if you have a mixed group. Highly recommend the scuba diving and the entire stay at Plateran Menjangan!

  Special Stay to remember

  My wife and I stayed at Plataran Menjangan to celebrate her birthday, and we had a truly memorable experience. The staff were incredibly helpful in preparing a birthday surprise for her, which made our stay even more special. We also loved the beautiful and peaceful surroundings, including the clean sea and the wildlife such as deer and monkeys. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely love to come back someday.
