  Beautiful location

  We have dined at Portixol many times, stayed once, and always enjoyed it… we took some friends for the first time last night, we enjoyed it all again, the only slight comment would be that all the men waiting on our table were lovely but the lady was not friendly or pleasant, maybe she was having a bad day ? I had commented on booking that it was my birthday so I was also a little surprised that a birthday candle for me to blow out was placed in my friends truffle he ordered for desert ??🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️… maybe that’s me ?? Anyway we will be back but thought both things worthy of mention….

  Hotel Portixol – Just as magical 15 years later – an absolute boutique gem!

  We first visited Hotel Portixol 15 years ago, and returning for a 4-night stay proved that it is just as incredibly special as we remembered. It is a rare find that maintains such high standards over time, and we made so many wonderful new memories this week.The rooms are immaculate, super clean, and exceptionally comfortable. They contain everything you could fields and more, with every single detail thoughtfully considered. Plus, you get a fantastic sea view or an interesting port view to look out on.The hotel amenities are wonderful, including a marvellous pool and a highly relaxing pool area. The location is absolutely perfect too—it is only a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport with absolutely no airplane noise, and just a 5-minute taxi or a scenic 15-minute cycle ride right into the centre of Palma.What makes this place truly shine is the superb hospitality. The entire team is brilliant, but we want to give a special mention to Paulina, Theresa, Margitte, and Nina. They were all delightful, highly knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful.The food here is also fantastic. Breakfast is a fabulous start to the day, and the restaurant serves excellent dishes made with fresh ingredients and lots of culinary thought. A special shoutout goes to the olive tapenade, which is absolutely to die for, and it pairs beautifully with their great wine list!We left with a heart full of memories and will definitely go back. Thank you to the whole team for an unforgettable stay!

  Good food in a fantastic setting. Unfortunately poor service with tired, inattentive and not very nice staff.
