  How they achieved the five-star hotel category is beyond us!

  It starts right in the entrance and lobby area. We would give this four stars at most, if that. Your key concept is also outdated and belongs in the fifties. The actual lobby and hotel area resembles a hunting museum more than anything else. The room we were assigned was excellent, but the access to the room does not fit a five-star concept, as you have to be careful not to hit your head when going to the room. The elevators as a whole are also showing their age and, in terms of size and technology, do not correspond to a five-star hotel. The wellness area is also not in order, not because the individual facilities are not okay, but because everything is spread out and things were constantly being added on, which really surprised us. 130 € was charged for the meal on Friday upon arrival. This meal is equivalent to cafeteria food, but never to the level of a five-star hotel. The food was absolutely inedible. Normally, in addition to an apology, it would be a matter of course for this to be canceled, which of course was not the case. Overall, the impression arises that they are trying to milk you at every turn. While eating, you don't have 2 minutes of peace without someone coming and asking if you wouldn't like to order one thing or another, so that in the end, a big fat bill adds up. We were also very astonished regarding the spritzer: a spritzer for ten euros, where just the bottom of the glass is covered and it still contains four ice cubes. If you pour out the ice cubes, there is nothing left in the glass. Here, too, we really feel ripped off! It is really not about the money here. We are very happy to pay if the quality and the price-performance ratio are right. The situation is the same at the evening bar. Here, too, you have the feeling of being ripped off. Sorry for this very harsh, open criticism, but unfortunately, it corresponds to the truth. The hotel has aged; it is well-maintained, but the hotel area has nothing to do with the rooms. Two interiors clash there: hunting museum with modern!

  Late summer in the mountains

  An all-around pampering vacation. My food intolerances were addressed in a competent and uncomplicated manner. Fantastic. Wonderful ambiance. Very, very friendly staff!! Only the service at breakfast could be even more perfect if one were asked about coffee and the like right away in the morning and one did not have to go to the waiters to place an order. And I personally found the lighting at dinner to be too dim.

  Excellent all round

  We loved our stay at Hotel Arlberg. Our room was lovely and spacious, if rather warm (but we were on the very top floor), lovely amenities and an all important excellent (Dyson) hairdryer. No coffee machine in the room which was disappointing especially when there was a free minibar in the room. We would have liked to make a coffee to go with the lovely cake they left in our room and at this level of hotel, we'd expect this as standard. The service was exceptional for our entire stay and we felt very well looked after. The team went above and beyond sourcing muzzles for our dogs for the local bus after we'd forgotten ours. The food in the half board restaurant was also excellent and at a very high level. One small piece of feedback would be that they could note down the departure days of rooms and make sure the cars are ready, as our car was blocked in on our morning of departure and we had to wait quite a while for the valet to move all the cars around. We would happily return and loved our stay and the Lech area for walking, thank you!
