  Great stay

  Very good food, portions a bit small with the pampering board. Room facing the Murg is super. Rooftop terrace is a dream. Inside the hotel, everything is a bit cramped and oppressive. SPA in the basement is very old and not very inviting.

  A delight and recommended!

  I appreciate the hotel's excellent location in the Black Forest, which offers numerous opportunities for hikes and explorations. It is very easy to reach by car as well as by public transportation. The reception was very friendly and everything was explained to us in detail. The room was simply a dream – especially for a whole week in the new building. It offers plenty of space for two people. The bathroom was simply heavenly with its double shower! The media area also leaves nothing to be desired; a smart TV is available. The wellness area is designed to be very modern and appealing both downstairs and upstairs, which contributes perfectly to relaxation. The infinity pool as well as the saunas in the upper area are the absolute highlight. There is more than enough space there. Anyone who loves breakfast as much as I do is in the best hands here – especially because of the delicious, fresh omelets and the large selection. Another highlight was the fantastic food. Being greeted every day by one of the best chefs in the country is something special: Jörg Sackmann manages the affairs of the establishment with palpable love and passion. In addition to the nature experiences of the Black Forest, one enjoys culinary heights of the absolute top class at the Romantik Hotel Sackmann. Whether regional classics or Swabian specialties – every palate will find the right dish here. The Hotel Sackmann offers an all-around successful combination of culinary delights and wellness – ideal for travelers looking for relaxation and enjoyment. It blends wonderfully into nature and was implemented beautifully in terms of design. For me, it is completely rightly awarded four stars. I will definitely be very happy to come back!

  August stay

  Nice hotel We were on 'full board' for a week. Compared to other 4+ star hotels, the board unfortunately did not include drinks. The meals were excellent. The service was impeccable. The room was good but a bit dated with a bathroom that was just okay. Relatively few parking spaces on-site and no functional charging station (Tesla chargers were out of order). The pools needed to be 2 or 3 degrees warmer. In summary, a good stay but there are still things to improve.
