  Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location

  In this hotel, they anticipate your every wish! Mr. Kenan took care of our every wish and was extremely accommodating! Great breakfast buffet, dreamlike sunsets, and a really great stretch of beach!

  Here is our brief description of our collected impressions.

  We (Stefan 62 and Sylvia 58) were on Mauritius for a three-week vacation for the umpteenth time. The goal again was maximum relaxation! We spent one week of it in the south of Mauritius, at Shanti Maurice (we were already here for a week last year). Here is our brief description of our collected impressions. POSITIVE FOR US: • The description of the suites and the facility according to their website corresponds to reality. • Our suite, the restaurants, and the restrooms in the public area are very clean. • The beach is cleaned and raked daily. • Paths and green areas are cleaned and maintained daily, as are the pools. • Staff very friendly, but not intrusive. • Although the resort is relatively small in terms of the number of suites and villas compared to other 5-star resorts, the menu in the "Stars" (main restaurant) is remarkably extensive. • In the 3 different restaurants, food is offered for all cultures and nationalities; we always found something that we liked. • My wife had herself pampered several times in the internal opulent spa area. • A special thanks to the service staff "Ayali", "Krishna", and "Keshan". • No "beach vendors" who constantly approach you. NEGATIVE FOR US: • Even after our second stay, we cannot report anything negative! OUR CONCLUSION: A 5-star resort is not the same as another 5-star resort. The "Shanti Maurice" is simply different. It is not paradise on earth, but it comes quite close. Anyone looking for rest and pure relaxation is in the right place here! Simply a beautiful resort; we felt truly comfortable here for the umpteenth time. We will come back.

  Super vacation in an outstanding resort

  It was a very nice time at Shanti Maurice. We had booked 14 days in the Beach Suite Villa with a private pool. Super room with a large pool and a very beautiful view. We experienced beautiful sunsets from the terrace. Privacy top. Room and pool cleaning always excellent. Very well-maintained and quiet facility. The resort is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. A butler service belonged to the villa. Our butler was Kanen Valaydon. He was always very friendly and attentive, but always discreet in the background. The entire staff at the hotel is always friendly and helpful. Food absolutely top, very good selection. We are coming back next September.
