  At best a 3 star Experience.

  From start to finish this destination failed to reach its promises. If you are an international traveller with 5-star experience and expectations this is going to disappoint you completely. On a good day this is an average 3 star. Unprofessional service that at points was rude. The food was terrible. The warning signs start with the size of the menu. It is fundamentally impossible to deliver fresh, quality food with an international menu that spans pages. Its a red flag to anyone in the hospitality industry. There is nowhere close by to eat. There are other desert retreats in Dubai and the UAE that put this place to shame. Its a tragedy because - in the right hands, managed, loved and directed by people with a passion for how beautiful the UAE truly is Tel Al could be spectacular. If you are looking for a first class desert resort experience there are much better options. This review is not designed to be unkind or destructive. Reviews that are negative can feel personal to the individuals working for the business. This is not that. This is an accurate, honest representation of the facts to help others choose. We did express our disappointment but the complaint was received with ambivalence and a refusal to compensate even at gesture level after pre-paying. For the operators of Tel Al it's a wake up call. An opportunity to act and turn this property into the experience it deserves to be. In the meantime - if for some reason you decide to go, my advice? Do not prepay. Hold some leverage.

  Desertology staycay

  Excellent stay , sceneric beauty and superb staff .Mohan , Saju, Debashish , Riya and last Latifa .

  Reservations and other room allocation, difficult to match

  We had a lot of expectations and visits to Hanniman but it was a very disappointing experience. The booked **Gazelle One Bedroom** was assigned as a deluxe room instead of one. The bigger problem is that there was no prior guidance or explanation for these changes. I was even more disappointed with the idea that if we hadn't verified it directly, we might not have known to the end. On the first day, there were problems with guidance on free activities, and after raising the room allocation issue, there was no active apology or sufficient explanation. I was offered to change my room late at night, but it was already over midnight and it was difficult for me to move my luggage back. A room change is very important to the customer. Especially on special trips such as Honeymoon, I think that if you didn't provide the booked room, you should have at least been guided in advance with sufficient explanation and appropriate response. This experience was very difficult...
