Hidden gem, perfect for Xcaret parks
An absolutely incredible hidden gem. Fully recommend for any families looking to stay near Xcaret. The hotel has just 9 rooms set within the trees. We had 2 rooms for our family of 5 - both were fantastic, with a tree-house vibe on the outside but luxury on the inside. The hotel is surrounded by nature, and couldn’t feel more authentic to its surroundings. This is a perfect location for the Xcaret parks. It took us 15 mins to walk to Xcaret and a 10 min walk to Xplor. Easy to walk, but taxis are also an option if needed (we took one back after Xcaret). The staff were so attentive. Fernando in particular, on both days he walked us to the entrance for Xcaret and Xplor and waited to greet us at the end of the day. Breakfast isn’t included in the price, but is great value for what you get. The freshest pancakes, and local fruit.

Excellent hotel and an exceptional human team.
Our stay at Hotel Terasu Riviera Maya was excellent from start to finish. It is a very comfortable, clean hotel, well located, and with a very pleasant atmosphere for enjoying with family. I want to give a very special thanks to Rocío, a Uruguayan who attended to us throughout our stay. From the first day, she was always with a smile, concerned that we lacked nothing, and willing to help with everything. Her kindness, closeness, and service vocation made a great difference in our vacation. People like her make one want to return. I also want to thank Fer, who was always attentive to our needs, with an excellent disposition and very good attitude at all times. Without a doubt, the greatest value of the hotel is the human quality of its team. Thank you all for making our experience in the Riviera Maya unforgettable. We hope to return very soon!
