A thalassotherapy center that is experiencing a decline in quality!
This comment aims to be objective regarding our stay at this establishment, so Fleur from marketing, who was going to respond to this comment. ACT and QUICKLY on the negative…
1°: The staff
When will you tell the staff that a simple "Hello" (Reception and Thalassotherapy) can brighten a day?
Message regarding this for Mr. DELEPAUX: About "Sister Smile" or "Mrs. Ice" with the small glasses. She is incredibly consistent in her behavior. Lack of kindness; she apparently does not know how to smile. Already twice in 2025, we had noticed it, we had reported it. When will you REALLY intervene to avoid driving away your customers?
Floor staff with VERY FRIENDLY temporary workers.
We left the establishment this Saturday, June 27, and no one asked us about our level of satisfaction!
2° : The hotel
With each of our visits since 2019, we have increased our budget to finally stay in a suite (259) facing the pool. Aside from the more interesting space, this location is not worth its price, and a quality refresh is necessary. At an average price of €350, it is quite expensive!
The bedding is excellent. The bathroom, how could you use tiles for the shower that become slippery when taking a shower and put in a sink made of plastic?
It is time for you to put yourself in the customer's shoes a little.
3° : The restaurant and breakfast
Since a single visit in 2019 to this place, we have decided never to set foot there again. Exorbitant breakfast price at €19 (For Transgourmet, which makes its deliveries at 7:30 in the morning, how is that possible?), as for the restaurant, the feedback from other people confirmed our choice. There are good places in Arcachon that are much cheaper and especially very tasty!
4° : The wellness and thalasso area
This is why we come (pools and jets that have been defective since February 2025) and only for that. But be careful, only come during the week, because starting Friday evening, Thalazur Arcachon becomes crowded, and it quickly turns into a municipal pool. This does not align at all with the idea of what wellness should be!
Furthermore, REMOVE your sign about prohibitions in the pool; IT IS USELESS: swim shorts, loose hair, and thongs are indeed present, and the goodwill of the lifeguards on site is not enough.
Enforce the swim cap requirement, and inform your clients that they must adhere to a bit more hygiene in the reservation confirmation.
In conclusion:
The site is a wonderful place on the Arcachon basin, especially since a residence has just been added there.
However, there is a lack of requirements at the management level; finding hospitality staff is certainly complicated today, but hygiene, cleanliness, and respect for the customer, which allows them to earn a salary at the end of the month, would certainly require better oversight.
And above all, please intervene with "Sister Smile with the Little Glasses" at the reception; she drives us away, and we will no longer accept being served by this person.
We will even look to change our future trips to Thalasso.
