  An unforgettable experience.

  A special thanks to the entire staff at The Sense for making our stay truly special. A heartfelt thank you to the maître d's Igor, Stefano, and Soltan, to Ilaria (Operation Manager), to the receptionist, and to all the waiters, in particular Anya, Liana, Tessa, Stelvin, Lok, Jacopo, and Federico, who were always kind, smiling, and attentive to every detail. A special thanks also to Mihaela, a very sweet person who always took care of our room, making sure we found it impeccable and perfectly clean every day. Thanks to the beach staff, to the person who prepares the eggs every morning, to the interns, to the guys who handle the luggage transfer, who were always helpful and smiling, to the workers who fixed our shutter with great promptness, and to the gardeners who, with their daily work, keep the property well-maintained and beautiful. A thank you also to all the people who, even if I do not remember them by name, contributed with professionalism, helpfulness, and heart to making us feel pampered every day. You made us feel at home. We will return with great pleasure ❤️

  Desperately seeking 5-star luxury

  Stayed during the fateful week of Ferragosto, and it is during this period that it becomes clear if a 5-star luxury hotel passes the test. Unfortunately, The Sense does not. By choosing a spacious, well-equipped, and quiet suite, we were halfway there, even though the building reminded us of a summer camp with high balconies. The accommodation with a secluded gazebo was good. As for the entire catering service, there was a lot of staff but few professionals, and at the Dimora in the evening, there was no atmosphere, with a profusion of dogs of various kinds, bowls scattered everywhere, and high chairs for children. Reported to Guest Relations, Ms. Ilaria, who was very present, reserved a table for us at the Riviere, with a supplement; the location was decidedly improved. But not the cuisine, which always had the same menu, not well-prepared, and above all, never any different daily specials. It is standard practice in all 5-star hotels. The Ferragosto dinner was decidedly sad, 4 appetizer bowls at the table, 2 choices for the first course, and a grill with arrosticini and squid, which were cold, by the way. In a 5-star hotel, every guest should feel special, and they should not allow indiscriminate freedom to families with children and the many dog owners. It is not possible to return.

  Late vacation August-September

  We spent 5 magnificent days of rest. Having chosen the property for the sea, we left completely satisfied. Total relaxation.
