The most charming 5-star in Porto.
This small hotel, each one distinct from the other, provides the most charming experience that a 5-star hotel can offer a tourist. A luxurious atmosphere, inside a room structure that feels more like it's become its own home. I believe it must be one of the most beautiful views of the Douro. A natural pool and another heated one, wonderful spa with great massages, offers you flip-flops, towels, and a robe to circulate in these environments every day. The breakfast is spectacular, in the glass restaurant and balcony with a view of the Douro. When sitting on the balcony, you can experience the white egrets that stay under the sunshades... the service team is 1000% proactive, friendly, and seemed always ready to help you with anything, in our case, it was booking restaurants (from the simplest to Michelin-starred). Based on the location, I believe it is 5-15 euros by Uber from anywhere. It is close to good places, but the ups and downs are an adventure throughout the Porto region.

Wonderful time in Porto
The location was a brief walk away from all of the action and sight of Porto. The restaurant had a lovely view of the river and offered a lovely breeze with the fall heat. The grounds and room were fantastic, spending an afternoon by the pool after traversing the city all morning was a great way to recharge. The restaurant offered fantastic food at reasonable prices. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The only issue we had was the room not cooling down enough in the evening but that would have to be if I was nitpicking, 9/10 would recommend.

Amazing
Amazing hotel. The rooms are stunning. Each one decorated differently based on a famous person. The staff go above and beyond. We arrived early morning and check in is 3 pm. My husband was not feeling well as we had not slept in 24 hours so they provided a room until ours was ready. Restaurant food was very delicious.
