  There are much better options in the Island.

  TUI The resort itself is nice, the design, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is good. But thats about it. The resort is so far away from anything but the piers that you must have a car or a bike to get out. There are a few restaurants in a walking distance but they are not that good (the italian is nice) The main action is far, the restaurants and activities. You can dine in the resort but its super expensive (note prices are without vat and 10%(!) service fee on everything. You dont have lots of options as again everything is far. Closest 7-11 is 3 km away. The showers are very bad, the water pressure changes every couple of seconds. The beds are not comfortable, very tough mattress. And above all the service, since the moment we checked in there was the feeling of always trying to get more money out of you. On everything. For us it was very unpleasant. The beach near the resort is not that nice as others in Samui. All in all I don’t recommend staying here unless you want a resort without leaving it at the far end of Samui. There are much better options in the Island.

  Quiet and pleasant spot

  Good transfer arranged with hotel from the airport got us off to a smooth start, staff very welcoming on check in. The bar staff were lovely but outside of happy hour the drinks really are on the expensive side. We took the free bus down to Nathon and bought a few cans of beer to put in fridge when we got back, not something we usually do but one can from the bar was same price as six cans from the supermarket. The poolside villas are lovely and having a bed right by the pool is a great way to wake up in the morning. Food at breakfast was varied, possibly a little too focussed on catering to Western tastes for our liking but there were some more local options which was also good to see. The beach is delightful and the overall feel is quiet which is exactly what we needed for the 5 nights we were there. We did venture out once to Beryl bar which was great food and great prices as a bit of variety.

  Very chill and lovely spot - expensive food&drinks

  We stayed at the TUI Blu as a family for one week. The location is a bit remote but it makes up with great rooms/villas, a great view and super helpful and alway friendly staff. The beach is fantastic. The water is very clear, goes flat for a long time and is great for (small) children. Our Villa (without pool) was very comfy. The restaurant is located next to the beach so you have a nice view eating your breakfast/lunch/dinner. The pools are also quite nice and have the perfect temperature. If you want to go to the nearest city Nathon you will have to use a taxi (Grab is probably the best way) or you can chose the ride from the hotel with fix departure times. We would not recommend to walk alongside the very busy street, especially not with infants or little kids. The only downside we had were the prices for food and beverages. In our opinion they are too expensive and not what one would expect. E.g. 1 plate of french fries over 9€, a fresh coconut over 5€ (they charge 10% fo service and 7% VAT on top). Overall a great vacation with a little bittersweetness to it regarding the costs on eating and drinking.
