  Fabulous stay

  Superb hotel in terms of architecture, rooms, and facilities; the dining is really top-notch and very diverse, the activities offered are numerous, the cleanliness throughout the complex is impeccable, and finally, all the staff are dedicated, wonderfully kind, available, and above all, always smiling.

  The dream of Zanzibar came true here

  We were allowed to spend our vacation here and it was simply dreamy and perfect! Already upon arrival it was an extremely warm welcome. Immediately at breakfast in the restaurant, the above-average good service stood out, and that remained the case the entire time. Always smiling and interested in how you are doing, no request was too much, the food was a small, very good selection in top quality! 2x per week dinner/BBQ on the beach or pool, dreamlike! No stomach/intestinal problems whatsoever. The service at all bars was also first-class. Regarding the room, we had a garden room in the upper part of the resort, which is beautifully landscaped and constantly maintained. The walkways are generally not far. Very large double bed with mosquito net, every evening while we were at dinner, they sprayed against insects and prepared the mosquito net for the night. We didn't have a single bite in 13 days, we additionally sprayed ourselves with Nobite before dinner. The beach is like in a picture book, we found the tides great for exploring the sea, there are great tours here with locals and Maasai, with whom we really became friends. The biggest feel-good factor at the hotel for us was definitely SAID from the animation team, such a wonderful person! Whether at aqua gym, Zumba, or simply during the many conversations, we have grown incredibly fond of him! Said, we will miss you! Also the others from the animation team, THANK YOU for this wonderful time with you and thank you for the extraordinary hospitality! We also did a day safari and the excursion to Mnemba Island, both booked through Goldmano Zanzibar, top organized and simply unforgettable! We can recommend this hotel without reservation and will come back. Zanzibar and its people are a dream that stays in your heart.

  Best vacation of my life

  To be honest, I don't even know where to start. The time here was something very, very special, not a normal vacation like I have always experienced before. I have already been to very special countries like the Maldives, the Caribbean, but still, none of the countries has overwhelmed me like Zanzibar. However, that was not only because of this beautiful place and the sea, but even more so because of the people. Every worker here is great in their own unique way, but I simply have to give extra praise to a few. I didn't meet the manager here often, but when I did, he was incredibly nice, always smiled at you, and even the short conversations with him were always great. At breakfast, you were always greeted with a special smile by one person, and thanks to him, you always started the day in a good mood: Sebastian. I'm actually not the type of person who joins in every activity, but here, when everyone asks you with a smile if you would like to participate today, you just can't say no. And honestly, I am overjoyed to have said yes. The aqua gym with Said (about whom I will write more) and Shakur was so incredibly fun and so beautifully organized every single day that I was already looking forward to it every day. Shakur participated every day with such a beautiful smile, and you just felt comfortable around him. Just an hour later, it was straight to aqua ball with Kombo. It was always a lot of fun but also really exhausting🥲 Or even crafting a clock and a beautiful crown out of palm leaves with Said and Ousmane was so much fun and it is a wonderful memory of this wonderful time here. I could write about every single person here, but then I think I would have to sit here until tomorrow 😂 But one person has grown so incredibly close to my heart that it is hard for me to even put it into words. Said, he is probably the kindest and happiest person I have ever come across, and I am infinitely grateful to have been able to get to know him. Whether at aqua gym, just talking, laughing together by the pool, crafting, or even playing cards.. Said brightened up the whole day. For him alone, I would return here at any time. It has been a long time since a goodbye was as difficult for me as it was with Said, but I will do everything I can to see him again. You simply cannot forget such an incredibly special person. I would have loved to pack him in my suitcase, but unfortunately that is not possible. As soon as I wasn't sitting on the lounge chair beaming, he would come right over and change that in less than a minute. I have truly never had it happen before that someone on vacation grew on me as much as Said did, and no one will ever manage to do so again the way he did. I also really cannot put it into words; he is such a special person and should stay exactly as he is. Now, while writing this, tears are already coming to my eyes, but I did not want to be sad that it is over, but rather that I was able to get to know Said, the people here, and this wonderful place. Thanks for everything Zanzibar and Hakuna Matata
