What an incredible place!
Baraza is a true 5 star, luxury resort on Zanzibar. With only 30 rooms, it provides a superior level of comfort, service, food and relaxation on the Indian Ocean. The rooms are very spacious with private gardens and individual plunge pools and none are more than a 3 minute walk from the beach or restaurants. The staff is as fine and caring as any I’ve ever experienced. Within 24 hours, each seems able to recognize you and are always checking up to see if you have any needs. From breakfast through lunch and dinner, the food is outstanding and well varied. Each villa (that’s all they have) has its own reserved spot on the beach and they are all prime locations. What makes me sad is that it is a long trip to get there. Otherwise, I could see a regular visit every other year or so. I hope there is an opportunity to get back there before too long.

A Perfect and Memorable Stay
We had a wonderful stay at BARZA Hotel! We truly enjoyed everything—the spa, restaurants, pool, beach, and the beautiful atmosphere. A special thank you to all the staff for being so friendly, supportive, and always ready to help with a smile. A very special thanks to Yaseen, who always made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Amazing experience, and we would definitely love to come back!

A fabulous retreat
We enjoyed a fabulous few days relaxing at Baraza. The cleanliness is exceptional, the grounds are beautiful and the staff are so warm and welcoming. The food is abundant and the spacious beach is a delight. Nothing it too much trouble for the teams.
