Kitzbühel has been the smart set's Alpine address since long before its downhill race made it famous. The medieval Tyrolean town keeps its painted facades and its reputation for glamour, while the Hahnenkamm run draws the ski world every January. Spa hotels here pair that pedigree with serious wellness: alpine-herb treatments, panoramic saunas, and pools that steam against the snow. Skiing in winter, golf and hiking in summer.
